MINDACT Study has started in Germany
The first patient is involved in the MINDACT Study in the breast centre lower rhine under managemet of Prof. Nitz.

The West German Study Group (WSG) is a national research group focussed on design, organisation and conducting trials about breast cancer therapy. Another focus of the WSG is the further training of physicians, nursing staff and patients. There is a wide range of cooperations between us and national and international hospitals, clinics and study groups specialised on breast cancer.

We would like to offer affected patients therapy options influenced by the latest results of breast cancer.  

Through cooperations with clinics from North Rhine-Westfalia the so called “TOP-centres” we were able to optimise the diagnosis, surgical treatment and therapy procedures. 

The location of the WSG is at the hospital “Bethesda” in Mönchengladbach. The patients are treated locally or in one of 150 assorted hospitals and clinics or in one of the centres out of the bond of the 10 "TOP-centres".  

Within the quality assurance of breast cancer treatment there are new options through the use of electronic patient files und the data backup in innovative electronic documentation systems.
